Following damage or destruction to the Office of the Association/Community Group or The Club’s premises resulting from a peril which is covered under the Business Property or Contents policy, the Business Interruption policy when selected and premium paid will provide coverage to compensate for either Loss of Gross Rents or Loss of Profits which may result from the interruption or interference to the Associations/Community Group or club’s business activities.
The policy will also provide indemnity for the additional costs incurred by the club or community group to reduce or avoid a reduction in Loss of Profits.
Indemnity Period – 12 months from the date of the loss and/or damage.
Additional Policy Benefits
- Claims Preparation Costs (Limit $10,000);
- Includes all standing charges during business interruption unless excluded by endorsement;
- Coverage is not stand alone and must be purchased in parallel with either Property Contents Insurance and/or Business Property and Contents Insurance.
